Her diverse nursing experience encompasses cardiac, orthopedics, spine, infectious diseases, home care, infusion services, hospice, palliative care, acute and sub-acute care, long-term care, and care management. She has held pivotal leadership roles in renowned healthcare organizations, spearheading program development, clinical operations, and transitions of care initiatives. Her ability to adapt to the ever-evolving healthcare landscape has consistently delivered measurable improvements in patient outcomes and team performance.

In addition to her clinical acumen, Serena is certified in Managerial Coaching and Leadership (ACSM) and Miller Heiman Strategic Selling, equipping her with advanced skills in team development and operational efficiency. Her certifications in process improvement through TeamSTEPPS enhance her ability to foster collaboration, streamline workflows, and ensure best practices are implemented across healthcare settings.

Michele C. Garlough, MSN, ARNP, is a highly experienced board-certified Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of diverse healthcare expertise. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowling Green State University. Additionally, she has certifications in massage therapy and sports management, adding a holistic dimension to her patient care approach.

Throughout her career, Michele has worked extensively in urgent care, emergency medicine, critical care transport, and pain management. She has served patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in high-demand hospital systems such as Collier Urgent Care and NCH Naples. Her background also includes working as a flight nurse with Life Flight & Mobile Life MICU, where she managed critical patients in emergency transport situations.

At AnchorCare Nursing, Michele plays a key role in providing comprehensive in-home healthcare services, collaborating closely with our Care Managers to deliver seamless patient care. She specializes in assessments, diagnostics, treatment, and management of chronic conditions, ensuring patients receive high-quality care in the comfort of their homes. Her expertise in urgent care services, wound care, medication management, and disease oversight helps reduce unnecessary hospital visits while improving patient outcomes.

Michele holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and several other specialized areas. She is licensed to practice in Florida, Ohio, and Montana.

With a deep commitment to patient well-being and a wealth of clinical knowledge, Michele is an invaluable part of the AnchorCare Nursing team, helping to enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.
